Welcome to Ali Almazar Photography and unButtoned by aap. By booking a session, making a payment, or accessing any content on our website, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms ensure a smooth, transparent, and respectful experience for all clients while protecting the artistic integrity of our work.
1. Services Covered
Ali Almazar Photography and unButtoned by aap (collectively, “the Studio”) provide luxury portrait, lifestyle, family, senior, boudoir, fashion/editorial, wedding, and event photography services. Sessions may include digital galleries, handcrafted print products, albums, wall art, and destination experiences, as well as in-person sales (IPS) consultations.
2. Booking & Retainers
A non-refundable retainer is required to secure all session dates. The retainer confirms your commitment and blocks studio time exclusively for you.
Rescheduling: Sessions may be rescheduled once, provided notice is given 30 or more days prior to the original session date. The retainer will transfer to the new date.
Cancellations: If a session is canceled 29 days or less before the scheduled date, the retainer is forfeited and non-transferable.
The remaining session balance is due as stated in your invoice and must be paid in full before final delivery of any images or products.
3. Copyright & Image Usage
All photographs, raw or finished, remain the intellectual property of Ali Almazar Photography. The Studio retains the right to use images for its portfolio, website, social media, marketing materials, publications, and professional competitions, unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to the session.
Clients receive a personal license for display and print use but may not sell, alter, or publish images for commercial purposes without written consent from the Studio.
4. Client Conduct
Professionalism and mutual respect are essential during every session. The Studio reserves the right to terminate a session without refund if a client or participant engages in behavior that is unsafe, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
5. Delivery Timeline
Portraits, Lifestyle, Boudoir, and Editorial Sessions: Galleries are typically delivered within 2–4 weeks after the session date.
Weddings and Large Events: Delivery is generally completed within 8–12 weeks.
Turnaround times are estimates and may vary during high-volume seasons, holidays, or travel sessions.
6. Prints, Products & Digital Files
All sales of digital images, albums, folio boxes, and wall art are final. Because each product is custom-made, refunds or exchanges cannot be issued once an order has been placed.
Color representation may vary between screen and print due to monitor calibration differences. The Studio ensures all products meet professional standards for quality and craftsmanship.
7. Liability & Force Majeure
While every effort is made to deliver exceptional service, the Studio shall not be held responsible for circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to illness, injury, inclement weather, equipment failure, or acts of God.
In such events, the Studio will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the session at no additional cost. Refunds will not be issued for uncontrollable or unforeseen cancellations.
8. Artistic Discretion
By booking, clients acknowledge the Studio’s distinctive artistic style and grant creative freedom regarding lighting, posing, editing, and curation. The final images delivered reflect the Studio’s professional judgment and are considered the completed product.
9. Privacy & Confidentiality
Client information and imagery are treated with the highest discretion. Sensitive content, such as boudoir imagery, is handled privately and shared only with explicit consent from the client.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising shall be resolved within the appropriate courts of Missouri.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a session, submitting payment, or viewing proofs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
